Buddhist Story: Seeking One's Own Misery.

One evening, an elder brother said to his younger brother, "Let's go to the mountains tomorrow and dig for some treasures to bring back." Upon hearing this, the younger brother was so excited that he couldn't sleep.

The next day, early in the morning, the younger brother secretly left the house and went to the mountains all by himself.

Upon reaching his destination, he found neither treasures nor food. As a result, he became hungry and thirsty, and could only return home exhausted.

Seeing his younger brother's disheveled appearance, the elder brother was very angry and said, "Why didn't you wait for me? You've wasted a trip for nothing, truly seeking your own misery."

Words of Wisdom: Rushing to complete a task without fully understanding its context and requirements not only wastes effort but also leads to nothing in the end!
