Dancing Handles has Palestinian roots – this is where Jeanne Bonnefoy-Mercuriali began experimenting with the antique water pots native to the region. In this reinterpretation, the handles are no longer just practical but become the focus of the piece, dancing around it.
Dancing Handles is both a sculptural and functional object – the elegant sufficiency of this product reflects the designer’s minimalist approach. The piece is firmly anchored in the territory and tradition of both Palestine and Limoges porcelain, brought together by design.
