Buddhist Story: The Time of Death Arrives.

Zen Master Ikkyu was exceptionally clever since childhood. His teacher had a very precious teacup, a rare treasure beyond compare. One day, he accidentally broke it and felt deeply guilty within. But just at that moment, he heard his teacher's footsteps approaching, so he quickly hid the broken teacup behind his back. When his teacher stood in front of him, he suddenly asked, "Why must humans die?"

"It is a natural occurrence," replied his teacher, "Everything in this world that is born must also die."

At this point, Ikkyu took out the broken teacup and continued, "The time of death for your teacup has arrived!" With that, Ikkyu handed over the shattered pieces of the teacup and turned to leave...
