Buddhist Story: A Group of Wolves. A group of wolves, chased into a cave by a hunter, faced a trap at the entrance. The first wolf out would be caught, but the others would be saved. After starving in the cave for a day and a night, they debated who should take the risk. The old wolf said, "I am the oldest。" The young wolf said, "I am the youngest。" The female wolf said, "I have three cubs waiting for me to nurse." A crippled wolf said, "I am already injured." Only one strong wolf was left, and he said, "If I rush out last, I can avenge everyone by biting the hunter to death." A few days later, the hunter dragged out a group of starved wolves from the cave. Words of Wisdom:Their refusal to sacrifice led to their collective demise, revealing the peril of selfishness. In a similar dilemma, what choice would we make?
