       近年來，宓雄更嘗試大型壁畫的表現，從單純表達佛國莊嚴的「佛菩薩與天眾赴會圖」到詮釋華嚴世界的「萬華莊嚴佛果地」、地藏經的「地藏經變圖」、阿彌陀經的「阿彌陀佛經變圖」、還有「藥師經變圖」、「十八羅漢圖」、「八相成道圖」、「中台八葉院」、表現禪宗境界的「十牛圖」…等；自2003年5月起，宓雄再向經中之王「妙法蓮華經」挑戰，計劃用三年的時間，完成高2.5米、總長100米的法華經全卷，誓將氣勢磅礡、內容精妙、佈局極富變化的28品經變圖一一呈現，－－如此的學佛因緣，能說不殊勝？
         Recently, Mi Xiong has switched his focus to painting on a larger scale. By moving to a more expansive space for his work, he attempts to present the dignity of the Buddha’s homeland in its most pure and simple state. These paintings include "Buddha, Bodhsattvas, and Celestial Beings Coming Together," ”Magnificent and Dignifying Buddhas Land," "Painting of Earth Treasury Bodhisattva Sutra," "Painting of Amitabha Buddha Sutra," "Painting of Medicine Buddha Sutra," "Eighteen Arhats," "Buddhas Eight Major Stages in Life," "the Court of the Eight-Petalled Lotus," and "Ten Cattle," a work that represents the realm of Chan. From May 2003, Mi Xiong took upon himself another great challenge when he decided to completely illustrate the Lotus Sutra on a scroll 2.5 meters (8 feet) tall and 100 meters (328 feet) long in a period of three years. Recognizing the power and excitement of the Sutra, he plans to translate all 28 chapters of the sutra into pictures. Indeed, Mi Xiongs endeavors to learn and understand Buddhism are indeed extraordinary.
